Sainted Ascension, now known simply as ISA, is the evolution of a young female designer carving out her own space in an industry where women are still rare at the helm of major fashion houses. The brand first appeared in late 2024 under the name ISASA, little more than a logo and an instinct she couldn’t yet articulate. The vision was there, but the designs were still forming—a quiet beginning to a story that would soon sharpen into focus.

The Origin of the Name

Her first official ISA design emerged in November 2025, marking the moment the work truly began. Since then, her archive has grown to more than ten original pieces, though only two have been released publicly.

The shift from ISASA to Sainted Ascension came after family questions pushed her to reflect on the meaning behind the name. Its roots trace back to her early online life, where friends called her “Asia,” later shortened to Asa. That identity evolved through phases like Evil Asa, where she discovered her avant‑garde sensibilities, and another phase, It’s Asa, a name from her music era—eventually becoming ISASA, and finally ISA: I’m Sainted Ascension.

Design Philosophy and Influences

ISA is not a brand built on logos or trends. It’s a personal mythology of a designer shaping her own world through original concepts rather than stamping her name on blanks.

Her influences range from the stark futurism of Yeezy to the sculptural minimalism of Balenciaga and the alternative edge of Alexander Wang. Yet she also draws inspiration from one of fashion’s most transformative women: Coco Chanel, whose rise in a male‑dominated industry mirrors the path ISA envisions for herself.

A Vision for the Creative Future

Chanel redefined femininity through design; ISA aims to redefine the future through her own lens—one that extends beyond clothing into furniture, art, and spatial design. Sainted Ascension represents her rise—a declaration of identity, ambition, and the belief that she is ascending into the creative future she’s building piece by piece.
